Lyrics
Responsorial Psalm
R/. From all my terrors, the Lord set me free.
I will bless the Lord at all times,
Praise of Him is always in my mouth.
In the Lord my soul shall make its boast;
The humble shall hear and be glad. R.
Glorify the Lord with me; / together let us praise His name.
I sought the Lord, and He answered me;
From all my terrors He set me free. R.
Look towards Him and be radiant; / Let your faces not be abashed.
This lowly one called; the Lord heard,
And rescued him from all his distress. R.
The angel of the Lord is encamped
around those who fear him, to rescue them.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Blessed the man who seeks refuge in him. R.
Responsorial Psalm
R. The lowly one called, and the Lord heard him.
I will bless the Lord at all times,
praise of Him is always in my mouth.
In the Lord my soul shall make its boast;
the humble shall hear and be glad. R.
The Lord turns His face against the wicked
to destroy their remembrance from the earth.
When the just cry out, the Lord hears,
and rescues them in all their distress. R.
The Lord is close to the broken—hearted;
those whose spirit is crushed He will save.
The Lord ransoms the souls of His servants.
All who trust in him shall not be condemned. R.
Responsorial Psalm
R. The Lord listens to the poor.
"See, you lowly ones, and be glad;
you who seek God, may your hearts revive!
For the LORD hears the poor,
and his own who are in bonds he spurns not.
Let the heavens and the earth praise him,
the seas and whatever moves in them!" R.
For God will save Zion
and rebuild the cities of Judah.
They shall dwell in the land and own it,
and the descendants of his servants shall inherit it,
and those who love his name shall inhabit it. R.
